This pertains to the issuance of LESPs to private security personnel wherein a huge backlog had develop in view of the covid-19 pandemic wherein CSG-SOSIA personnel had gone on forced vacation and the bogging down of various computer equipment utilized in the processing/issuance of LESPs.

To ease the predicament of all concerned especially our private security personnel who bear the brunt of not having a valid LESP, hence, not being able to go "on duty", CSG-SOSIA will be issuing temporary/provisional LESP valid for sixty (60) days until the issuance of LESP card. The proof of payment or the SBR will be the temporary/provisional LESP ID.

We regret to inform the public that our remaining stocks of supplies for ID/Card Printing is already depleted. Due to the pandemic, the estimated date of delivery for the stocks of supplies will be on February 2021.

Resumption of ID/Card Printing will be announced to the public as soon as the stocks of ID/Card printing supplies become available.

This pertains to the celebration of the Yuletide Season from December 16, 2020 which marks the beginning of "Simbang Gabi" up to January 3, 2021, the Feast of the Three Kings. In this regard, the private security personnel, who plays a vital role as the PNP's Force Multipliers are once again called on to provide assistance to the PNP in motor vehicle traffic control/direction, immediate reporting of crime incidents and maintenance of peace and order within their are of responsibility...


This pertains to the observations and comments received by this Office from well-meaning citizens that most number of private security personnel are performing functions not related to security matters. This holds true especially those posted in pawn-shops, fast-food establishments, convenience stores and the likes.
